A Concept Not Easily Seen

A Concept Not Easily Seen 150 150 Central City Baptist Church

The Bible tells us in Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Although a concept not always easily seen in everyday life, it is a biblical truth none the less. I can look back on my own life and see the Lord work through a difficult circumstance for good.

When I was eight years old, my parents separated and eventually divorced. God used this period of my life to move my mom, brothers, and me into a new town and church where the Bible was preached. After a few years of hearing the gospel, I began to be under conviction. I realized I was lost and I needed to call on Jesus as my personal Savior. One Sunday night, as a young boy, my mom led me through the Bible, and I trusted Christ as my personal Savior.

Although the circumstances of my life were gloomy, God used them in a marvelous way. I know, without doubt, that I will spend eternity with God in heaven.

Could it be today that God is allowing circumstances to come into your life to draw you to Him? Do you know where you will spend eternity?

I John 5:11-13 “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

Because I trust Christ as my savior, my life and eternity have forever been changed.
