What We Believe
GOD
We believe that there is one, and only one, living and true God, an infinite, intelligent Spirit whose name is Jehovah, the maker and supreme ruler of heaven and earth; inexpressibly glorious in holiness and worthy of all possible honor, confidence and love; that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit), equal in every divine perfection, and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.

JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, a divine person, equal with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit and of the same nature. He was active in the creation of everything and without Him nothing was created. He existed from eternity past, present, and future. He possesses every attribute of God, being Himself God. In His incarnation as Jesus, He was virgin born, perfect in every aspect and blameless. Jesus perfectly revealed and did the will of God taking upon Himself the form of a man and became obedient unto death. He perfectly honored the divine law in every point. He was crucified on the cross of Calvary as our substitutionary death and after three days He rose bodily from the grave with a glorified body. He ascended into the heavens to sit on the right hand of the Father in heaven. He is the propitiation for our sins and not for ours only but the sins of the whole world.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person; equal with God the Father and God the Son and of the same nature; that He was active in the creation; that in His relation to the unbelieving world He restrains the evil one until God’s purpose is fulfilled; that He convicts of sin, of judgment and of righteousness; that He bears witness to the Truth of the Gospel in preaching and testimony; that He is the agent in the New Birth; that He seals, endues, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies and helps the believer.

THE BIBLE
We believe the Holy Scriptures (Holy Bible) of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. That Scripture was written by men supernaturally (divinely) inspired and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible, and God-breathed. Scripture has God for its author and salvation as its end. Scripture is truth without any admixture of error for its matter; and therefore, is and shall remain to the end of the age, the only complete and final revelation of the will of God to man; the true center of Christian union and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions should be tried. The King James Version of the Bible is what we use for preaching and teaching. By “The Holy Bible” we mean that collection of sixty-six books, from Genesis to Revelation, which, as originally written does not only contain and convey the Word of God but is the very Word of God. The sixty-six books are complete and are the divine revelation of God to man.

SALVATION
Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8, 9; John 14:6 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1
ETERNAL SECURITY
Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved, you cannot “lose” it. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security. Satan cannot take away your Salvation. He can take away your peace and security.
John 10:29; 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25, 10:10, 14; 1 Peter 1:3-5
ETERNITY
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
John 3:16; John 14:17; Romans 6:23; Romans 8: 17-18; Revelation 20:15; 1 Cor. 2:7-9
CREATION
We believe that God created the universe in six literal, 24-hour periods. We reject evolution, the Gap Theory, the Day-Age Theory, and Theistic Evolution as unscriptural theories of origin.
